Thorax – Your chest.

Abdomen - The thorax and abdomen are separated by the diaphragm.

Trachea – Your windpipe

Epiglottis – A flap of skin that drops over the opening to your larynx. It stops any food from going down your windpipe.

Cartilage – Rings around your windpipe, that keep it from collapsing. They are C – shaped.

Pleural Membrane – Your lungs are surrounded by the pleural membrane. It makes a slippery fluid, what makes the lungs spongy.

Heart beat - how often the valves close a minute, heart pressure is how heart the blood pushes against the ventricle walls, before going through the second valves.
